Third meeting of the Federation of South Asian Brick Kiln Associations

ICIMOD’s Clean Brick Initiative is organizing the third meeting of the Federation of South Asian Brick Kilns Associations (FABKA) in Bangkok. The founder members of FABKA – the Federation of Nepal Brick Industries (FNBI), the All India Brick and Tile Manufacturers Federation (AIBTMF), the Bangladesh Brick Manufacturing Owners Association (BBMOA), and the Brick Kiln Owners’ Association of Pakistan (BKOA) – will be attending the meeting.

The objective is to finalize the draft constitution of FABKA and prepare a roadmap for the association. ICIMOD is working to strengthen the association by playing a facilitative role until FABKA is ready to function independently. The Clean Brick Initiative is funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) Nepal.
