My role at ICIMOD

My work is aimed at effective sharing of ICIMOD’s work and knowledge products. I also help strategically promote the various web portals of ICIMOD and ensure that these portals are running and functioning properly.

How do you protect the pulse of the planet?

Apart from work, where I help promote ICIMOD’s efforts in the region, I try to be mindful of how and what I consume. I try to reduce waste by buying used products. When I have to buy new ones, I try to buy those that last a long time.

What do you enjoy the most about working at ICIMOD?

I like the diversity of colleagues and also appreciate the good work–life balance that the organisation promotes.

What are you passionate about?

I enjoy playing indie video games, bicycling, watching anime, listening to vinyl records and electronic music, and a range of other geeky hobbies. I am not particularly passionate about anything but I often find myself trying to learn new skills.

What are your qualifications?

I have a Master’s in Information Science and previous experience in multimedia and digital marketing.
