My role in ICIMOD is to support our institutional application of the Navision enterprise resource planning system (ERP), developing new modules, fixing bugs, upgrading new versions when required and supporting users.
How do you protect the pulse of the planet?
Professionally, all administrative systems need to be functioning well to suport the work of the institution so I protect the pulse by ensuring smooth work technically. Personally, I am always trying to convey to others the impacts of pollution and climate change so that we can all take action to avoid negative circumstances.
What is your favorite part of the work you do at ICIMOD?
I’ve found at ICIMOD a good work/life balance and I enjoy working within an international team environment in which we have chance to learn more than culture. I also appreciate the maximum support from management and good team members.
What are you passionate about?
Being a good human being.
I am first and foremost a person who is self-motivated and kind and I have a positive attitude and never quit. I also hold a Master’s degree in Computer Application from Utter Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India and have more than 10 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP. This includes technical, functional, user support, user training, user acceptance testing, new version upgrades, existing functionality enhancement and new functionality development.
Before joining ICIMOD I had completed more than 25 projects worldwide in countries including Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore, USA and India focusing within different domains such as manufacturing, travel, distribution, sales, finance, warehouse, inventory and costing, and finance and budget.
