Sadiksha is Programme Officer for the SERVIR-HKH project, the joint initiative of National Aeronautics and Space Administration, U.S. Agency for International Development hosted by ICIMOD.

Her key responsibilities encompass project planning, budgeting, partnerships development and management, as well as communication, liaising, monitoring, and evaluation of the project.

She has a master’s degree in development studies and nine years of expertise in project management, partnerships development and strategic cooperation.

With a background in national and international event coordination, including strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, administrative and financial management, Sadiksha has proven herself versatile in multifaceted roles. Having been a part of the ICIMOD’s directorate team, she also holds experience in executive office handling.

She served as focal contact point for ICIMOD during the accreditation of ICIMOD to the Adaptation Fund and was instrumental in securing ICIMOD’s delivery partner status from the Green Climate Fund.

How do you protect the pulse of the planet?

A:

Personally I contribute my bit towards protecting the Pulse of the planet by using environmentally friendly products and recyclable goods to the maximum extent possible.

A:

The diverse environment of ICIMOD, its working modality and in-house learning opportunities are a few of the many things I enjoy most about working at ICIMOD.

A:

I am very passionate about traveling to new places, trekking and hiking.

My qualifications

A:

I received a Masters Degree in Development Studies from Nepal in 2015.  Before joining ICIMOD I worked at the Center for Microfinance, Kathmandu, Nepal.
