I work as the Business Development and Resource Mobilisation (BDRM) Associate at ICIMOD. In this role, I provide comprehensive administrative support, organising events and travel arrangements, fostering effective knowledge management and communication for the unit, facilitating smooth unit activities, and strengthening collaborative teamwork. By carrying out my responsibilities, I contribute to the overall efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the BDRM unit, ensuring its seamless operation and success.

How do you protect the pulse of the planet?
I strive to practice sustainable consumption and minimise my overall consumption to reduce waste generation. By doing so, I am actively working to reduce my carbon footprint and conserve water resources. Working in an organisation dedicated to protecting the pulse of the planet also further enhances my contribution to safeguarding the Earth’s well-being.

I am driven by a deep passion to enhance various aspects of life, whether it’s personal growth, the environment surrounding me, or the quality of work I engage in.
What are your qualifications?
I have a Master’s in Sustainable Water Management from Lancaster University and another in Business Administration with a specialisation in Human Resource Management from Kathmandu University. I have six years of experience in human resource management in varied areas such as banking, HR consultancy, and intergovernmental organisations, in addition to my experience in BDRM.
