I bring more than 20 years of experience in the field of river basin management, community-based adaptation, disaster risk reduction, environmental management and impact assessment, and freshwater conservation and management. Before joining ICIMOD, I worked at IUCN Asia Regional Office, IUCN-Nepal, and WWF Nepal, implementing projects in various countries. I have published several scientific peer-reviewed papers, journal articles, and book chapters. My academic journey has enhanced my understanding of physical as well as social science, and my professional career has given me a platform to work with local communities, practitioners, academics, policymakers, and scientists.
