Q:

How do you protect the pulse of the planet?

A:

Rising air pollution in the HKH has very tangible impacts in the form of rising temperatures and snowmelt. This affects the pulse of the planet, and the future of our ecology, environment and livelihoods. I protect the pulse by helping businesses, governments, communities and other stakeholders understand their role in this scenario, as well as any action they can take to reduce further pollution, and therefore protect the pulse too!

Q:

What is your favorite part of the work you do at ICIMOD?

A:

Where else can you work with friends and colleagues from across the HKH?! It is wonderful here!

Q:

What are you passionate about?

A:

What drives me? Constantly learning something new, especially through interactions, movies, or food!

Q:

My qualifications

A:

My primary qualifications are my years of first hand experience in multiple facets of agriculture and clean energy related systems and businesses. As part of my work, I have been able to give a voice to those not represented in mainstream discussions, and have been able to help bring changes to improve the lives of many. My academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English Literature and Language from Tribhuvan University in Nepal.
