Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
As Programme Officer within the Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, my major roles are to effectively coordinate institutional level planning, monitoring, review and reporting to ensure accountability and learning at the organisational level. I focus on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities across the programmes and initiatives: to develop and manage the M&E database; to support our internal review processes and prepare review reports; to consolidate and develop progress reports and plan documents; and to support in periodic M&E assessments and impact evaluations. I closely coordinate with colleagues on timely collection of data, information and reports. I support internal committees in their work related to programme planning and review and ensure M&E planning and budgeting at the institutional level. I am also involved in reviewing ICIMOD’s agreements and contracts with partners from the M&E perspective to ensure that M&E requirements are fully covered and providing support to internal and external trainings and workshops to strengthen the capacity of partners and to share knowledge.
How do you protect the pulse of the planet?
