Request for proposal: Addressing cascading and transboundary climate risks through cooperation on adaptation in the Hindu Kush Himalaya

ICIMOD is looking for experts and organisations to develop two position papers on strengthening cooperation on adaptation to cross-border and cascading climate risks; provide on-demand informal technical backstopping to ICIMOD and RMC negotiators from our regional member countries; and design and develop a conceptual programme of work to strengthen regional cooperation on adaptation to cascading and cross-border climate risks across the HKH and Asia Pacific.

The proposal should consist, but not be limited to, the following elements:

  1. Technical proposal
  2. Technical approach and methodology
  3. Work plan
  4. Organisation and experts
  5. Relevant past experience
  6. Financial proposal

The proposal must be sent electronically to consultancy.int@icimod.org no later than 6 PM (Nepal Standard Time), 9 May 2024.

ICIMOD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received without providing any reason whatsoever.
