Billions of people around the globe suffer from food insecurity – the inconsistent or insufficient availability and affordability of food. With the help of Earth-observing satellites, a partnership between the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is working to reduce that number.
