The South Asian Network for Development and Environmental Economics (SANDEE) is an initiative of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) under the regional programme on Mountain Knowledge and Action Networks (MKAN). SANDEE is a research capacity-building network that supports South Asian researchers and institutions interested in the connections between economic development, the environment, and the use of natural resources.
SANDEE will hold its 40th biannual research and training workshop online.
Selected researchers whose proposals have undergone peer review will present and defend their proposal for a research grant competition during the workshop, where peers and SANDEE faculty advisors will comment and provide feedback. The workshop will also provide a platform to the researchers who received research grants from earlier rounds of the competition to share their progress and receive feedback and guidance from the faculty advisors and peers.
