Food security is a key concern for sustainable development in mountain areas. Mountain Research and Development is looking for papers that present validated insights into development solutions for reducing malnutrition and increasing food security for mountain people; that analyze food systems in mountains against the background of global trends and the need for conserving ecosystems; or that offer agendas for research or policymaking aimed at increasing the sustainability of food systems in mountains. Notices of intent are due by 15 November 2017, full papers by 28 February 2018.
