The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) is a leading regional intergovernmental knowledge and learning centre based in Kathmandu, Nepal.  Established in 1983, ICIMOD is dedicated to sustainable mountain development and enhancing the resilience of mountain communities in the Hindu Kush Himalaya (HKH) region. The HKH region spans eight Regional Member Countries (RMCs) – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan.

As part of its initiative to enhance institutional communications and media engagement, ICIMOD intends to build a dedicated podcast recording studio and an audio-visual (AV) room at its headquarters in Khumaltar, Lalitpur.

ICIMOD hereby invites qualified and experienced interior design or architectural firms to submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) for the design and construction of these facilities. The project will include a podcast recording studio, an AV room, and an adjacent sitting area. The work will cover soundproofing, acoustic treatment, lighting, AV system setup, and all other features needed to create a professional recording and production space.

Only firms that meet the requirements and are shortlisted will be invited to submit a full Request for Proposal (RFP) / bidding process later.

Submission details

Send your EoI by email to procurement@icimod.org no later than 05 November 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.
