In my role in the Geospatial Solutions Theme as a Senior Programme Associate, I am responsible for coordinating, managing and supporting the administrative, logistic and financial functions to ensure smooth operations for the theme.

I protect the pulse of the planet to beat healthier through my work providing administrative and logistic support to achieve our mission.
What is your favorite part of the work you do at ICIMOD?
When I enter ICIMOD main gate, I enjoy seeing the beautiful green lawn with different beautiful flowers and trees and the greetings from guards also make me feel nice. The diverse-cultured teams, the daycare facility and good office environment with a non-smoking office area motivates me to work at ICIMOD.
What are you passionate about?
I enjoy reading spiritual books and I often wonder about life and the after life.
My qualifications
I have about 24 years of work experience coordinating, managing, and supporting administrative, logistical and financial works. I also have work experience in desktop publishing and data entry. I originally joined ICIMOD under the Mountain Risk Engineering and Mini Micro Hydropower projects and also worked in our beekeeping project for more than one decade. Prior to joining ICIMOD, I worked for about 4 years in SIRAC Software (P) Ltd. and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in science from Nepal.
