Q:

How do you protect the pulse of the planet?

A:

I develop and design simple and innovative products that can convey the knowledge and information generated by ICIMOD to a wide range of audiences. In this way, I help create awareness about issues related to the environment and mountain communities.

Q:

What is your favourite part of the work you do at ICIMOD?

A:

I am in love with Kathmandu. It’s the best place to live as it is close to nature and the people are welcoming. ICIMOD is a great organization with a supportive and family-like working environment.

Q:

What are you passionate about?

A:

I am passionate about creating something new. It may or may not be related to my profession. For example, architectural designs, graphic web designs, cooking (sometimes), artwork, sketching, event management, etc.

Q:

My qualifications

A:

I have a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a diploma in multimedia and animation (includes graphic and web design, 3D and 2D animation, character and architectural modelling, lighting, texturing and rendering, and audio-video editing, etc). Prior to joining ICIMOD, I worked as a web-graphic and 3D architectural designer for two years at an advertising agency in Saudi Arabia. I also worked with the South Asia Consortium for Interdisciplinary Water Resources Studies (SaciWATERs) in Hyderabad, India, as a web-graphic administrator for over three years.
