As a Digital Communications and Outreach Officer at ICIMOD, I lead SERVIR-Hindu Kush Himalaya’s communications and outreach activities, driving impact on ICIMOD’s longer-term impact areas, specifically transboundary risk reduction and adaptation, air quality, biodiversity and environmental health, and green mountain economies. SERVIR-Hindu Kush Himalaya, A joint initiative of NASA, USAID, and ICIMOD, addresses critical challenges in climate change, food security, water and related diseases, land use, and air quality across the Hindu Kush Himalaya region.

I was born and brought up in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The city is located on the banks of the Karnaphuli River between the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the Bay of Bengal. My diverse background spans the development sector, electronic media, and advertising, with academic experience, including a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy from the University of Chittagong and a Master of Social Science (MSS) in Television and Film Studies from the University of Dhaka.
