HUC Thematic Working Groups

HUC Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) promote regional collaboration in research and training for sustainable mountain development by enhancing the networking and partnership amongst institutions and providing the opportunity for joint research activities. List of HUC TWGs are;

What exactly do TWGs do?

  • Identify priorities for actions in their themes/areas
  • Jointly develop research proposals to be submitted to donors
  • Collaborate in training and curriculum building/uptake from research
