Arya Hotel, Thimphu Bhutan

Date & Time

08 November 2019

Building on the workshop in April 2019 on integrating gender into the 12th Five-Year Plans and Programmes of Bhutan’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, a day-long reflection workshop was conducted on 8 November 2019. The reflective workshop aimed to stimulate thinking on translating theory into practice. The exercise gave the participants a chance to reflect and learn from the experience of integrating gender in their on-going work during the six months after the initial workshop.

The workshop focused on activities, presentations, and discussions that encouraged organizational learning. The participants mapped progress, identified challenges for further capacity development, and provided general recommendations.
