This intervention sets out to:

• Co-produce evidence on the causes of air pollution regionally in order to guide responses.
• Increase the volume, quality and accessibility of data on air quality.
• Strengthen local, national and regional understanding of the emission status of pollutants for policymaking and global reporting.
• Bring together scientific knowledge on air quality and encourage science-policy linkages and air quality management decision support systems.
• Establish a public platform on air quality data, modelling and forecasting for the HKH area.
• Engage countries of the Hindu Kush Himalaya and regional and international partners to build consensus around the need to protect air, to co-design solutions, and to create a regional clean air investment portal for potential investors.
