Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation

Tariq Ahmad joined ICIMOD as Programme Officer in the Strategic Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Unit in May 2015. Mr Ahmad has over 7 years of experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluating development programmes with various development organizations, especially in the Hindu Kush Himalaya region. He has expertise in writing project proposals, logical frameworks, result-based management, designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems, report writing and capacity building. Before joining ICIMOD, Mr Ahmad worked as a programme officer (M&E) for the Sarhad Rural Support Programme and was Regional Manager M&E for the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme Pakistan. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Institute of Management Sciences and an MS  in Project Management from COMSAT University. He has participated in a number of national and international trainings in the field of project cycle management, monitoring, evaluation and research.
