काठमाडौँ — मुलुकमा वनको क्षेत्रफल (प्राकृतिक स्रोतले ढाकेको क्षेत्र) बढेको पाइएको छ । सन् २००० मा कुल वन क्षेत्र ३९.९९ प्रतिशत (५९ लाख १५ हजार ५ सय १८ हेक्टर) रहेकामा सन् २०१९ मा ४१.६९ प्रतिशत (६१ लाख ६६ हजार ७ सय ६६ हेक्टर) पुगेको एक सरकारी अध्ययनले देखाएको हो ।
