Regional Workshop on Review and Planning of Kailash Sacred Landscape Conservation and Development Initiative (KSLCDI) for Programme-Implementation 2012-2016


The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in collaboration with Chinese Academy of Sciences: China;  Ministry Environment and Forests, Government of India; and Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation, Government of Nepal, supported by Department for International Development (DFID) and the German Agency for International Development (GIZ) is organizing a Regional Review and Planning Workshop on Kailash Sacred Landscape Conservation and Development Initiative: Programme implementation for 2012–2016. The participants attending the workshop will include senior government officials, representatives of lead partners from China, India, and Nepal, and representatives from DFID and GIZ.

The objectives of the workshop are to

  • review the current country implementation plans (2013);
  • prepare the implementation plans until 2016;
  • prepare the log-frame and monitoring and evaluation plan until 2016;
  • review and strengthen the institutional mechanism for implementation; and 
  • conduct team building activities.
