71 in 100,000 die of COPD annually in Pakistan

KARACHI: Seventy-one in 100,000 die yearly of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in Pakistan, making it the fourth leading cause of death. Pakistan Chest Society (PCS) President Prof Nadeem Rizvi said this while speaking at a seminar in connection with the World COPD Day.
