This section gives an overview of the perceived level of food security in the surveyed households.


Summary

Thirty-seven percent of the surveyed households claimed to be food self-sufficient while more than 50% depend on the store/market for food. Households in Jajarkot were comparatively more self-sufficient. There were no households in Humla found to be food self-sufficient. On average, households had enough food to feed household members for 9 months out of the year.
