Jigmi Rinzin

Jigmi Rinzin is a Member of Parliament in National Council, Bhutan. He chairs the Natural Resources & Environment Committee of National Council and is a core member of the Parliamentarians Forum for Development Evaluation in South Asia.

He has chaired parliamentary standing committees on public accounts, economics affairs, and good governance, as well as the national committee on parliamentary entitlements. 

On the international front, Jigmi was instrumental in the formation of the Asia Regional Association of Public Accounts Committees (ARAPAC) including drafting of the ARAPAC Constitution, and was Secretary General of ARAPAC. 

Jigmi worked with the Anti-Corruption Commission of Bhutan and with the Royal Audit Authority (supreme audit institution of Bhutan), and was a Reference Panel Member of INTOSAI Auditing Standards Committee Working Group on Financial Audit Guidelines.

He has BCom from the University of Delhi, India, and was a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), UK.
