Devising the Five-year Implementation Plan for BSLCDI



Beginning on 15 Dec 2014, in the four-days Regional consultation, ICIMOD together with partners from China, India and Myanmar will be concretizing a programme design  and a five-year implementation plan for the Brahmaputra-Salween Landscape - a socio-culturally unique and a multiple-biodiversity hotspots area at the intersection of the three countries.  The programme design for the initiative is going to be based on a thorough understanding of the theory of change and impact pathway.  The regional consultation is being organized by the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, in collaboration with three focal institutions- Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China; G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, India; and Forest Department, Ministry of Environmental Conservation and Forestry, Myanmar; with support from Austrian Development Agency and German Cooperation.
