Research Associate Glaciologist, Water and Air
My responsibilities in the Centre are to collect, analyse and disseminate crucially important high altitude glacier mass balance, meteorological, hydrological, permafrost and other cryosphere data from the high Himalaya. I’ve had opportunities to lead and conduct several cryosphere research field expeditions in the Nepal Himalaya and provide hands-on training on cryosphere monitoring for young and committed professionals and students from across the region. I also work with cryosphere data to understand the cryospheric dynamics especially related to glaciers in the HKH.
