Human Resources/Organizational Development (HR/OD) Unit (HRD)
As a Human Resource Associate for Recruitment and Selection, I assist in managing recruitment and selection processes.
How do you protect the pulse of the planet?
I protect the pulse of the planet and help ICIMOD to achieve its goals through wise and balanced selection of colleagues and through my assistance in hiring talented team members who can contribute to our thriving workforce.
What is your favorite part of the work you do at ICIMOD?
I believe the best part of working at ICIMOD is the workplace environment, which is very friendly and energetic. For people like me who have just started their careers, this environment provides positive motivation for my current work and towards the future.
What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about the outdoors. I love travelling, especially trekking in the mountains where I go at least two times a year. I also love swimming which helps me relax both body and mind.
My work life has been mostly associated with the development sector since I started work at World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) Nepal where I was a Mentee for a Generation Green Project. I also worked on a project related to right to information, called the SUCHANA II project at Nepal’s National Information Commission. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Kathmandu University School of Management.
