How do you protect the pulse of the planet?
My work as a researcher protects the pulse of the planet through providing the scientific evidence for policymakers to design suitable mitigation strategies based on analysis and interpretation of a range of atmospheric and cryospheric datasets.
What is your favorite part of the work you do at ICIMOD?
I enjoy working in an interdisciplinary work environment with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about learning history, more specifically, how things evolved differently in particular places. I also like to watch movies, ride motorbikes, hike, and visit new places.
Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in disaster mitigation and management from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. Before that, I completed a Master’s degree in environmental science and a Bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering.
