Negi, V. S. says:
Prem, I only want to say....
Juniper smoke wafts across the horizon
as I walk with a steady stream
heading toward unknown and unkempt
my ears fills with the sound of chanting mantras
the whirring of spinning prayer wheels
the scrape of prostrating bodies
it is hard for me to stay on my feet
and I’m carried along
as I round the bend a breeze taps me on the shoulder
indicates to turn
There, draped on the hilltop is my beloved god
