Realising the increasing effects of atmospheric changes on the fragile ecosystems and well being of people in the Hindu Kush Himalayan (HKH) region, the Atmosphere Initiative of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) was established in 2013. To improve the understanding of atmospheric issues and promote regional cooperation on related issues, the initiative’s participation in the 17th IUAPPA World Clean Air Congress and 9th CAA Better Air Quality Conference in Busan, Republic of Korea is of utmost importance.
Better Air Quality is a leading event of Clean Air Asia which influences positive change and brings together policy makers, practitioners, and industry leaders. It is the major international conference on air quality in Asia, and covers key sectors of transport, energy, industry, and climate change.
